A Navy family business, run like one

Cano started Signature Epoxy Floors in January 2026 and runs it alongside Shane, Cano's brother. Both served in the United States Navy, and Shane also spent years as a firefighter.

That's a long way of saying we're both used to work where the prep is the whole job and shortcuts show up later, usually at the worst possible time. A coating is only as good as the concrete underneath it, so that's where we spend our time.

It's why we moisture-test slabs before we quote them, why we diamond grind instead of acid etching, why cracks are repaired before anything goes down, and why we tell you the return-to-service time before you sign rather than after. While other contractors rush one-day installs with budget materials, we use premium-grade resins, fast-curing polyaspartics and broadcast systems built for Texas heat.

Alvarado roots

We're based on East Renfro Street in Alvarado, and Johnson County is home turf. Garages, shops and patios here take a beating: summer heat, clay soil that moves the slab, and trucks that track in mud and oil. We're close by for estimates and follow-up visits anywhere from Fort Worth and Dallas to Burleson, Mansfield, Cleburne and Granbury.

How a job runs

Free walkthrough and moisture test
We measure, look at the slab and test for moisture vapor while we're there. You get your scope and price by text or email.
Diamond grinding
We grind the slab to bare concrete, the profile the coating needs to bond. Never an acid etch.
Crack and joint repair
Cracks, pits and spalled areas are filled as their own line items, so they don't telegraph through later.
Base coat and broadcast
An epoxy base coat goes down, then flake, metallic pigment or quartz, depending on the system you chose.
Topcoat
A polyaspartic topcoat for hot tire resistance, chemical resistance and UV stability.
Final walkthrough
We walk the floor with you, confirm when you can walk and park on it, and send your maintenance instructions and warranty.

10-year warranty

Every residential epoxy and metallic floor has a written 10-year workmanship warranty against peeling and discoloration, plus the manufacturer's warranty on the coating system. What's covered and what isn't is stated in the bid before you sign.

Insured

General liability of $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate. For commercial jobs we issue a certificate of insurance naming you as additional insured before the crew arrives.

Our crews have 5+ years of epoxy experience, and we don't do one-day installs.
