Coating Systems
The most slip-resistant and hardest-wearing system we install. Built for wet floors, and floors that get scrubbed.
Quartz epoxy uses colored quartz aggregate broadcast into an epoxy base, locked in with a clear or pigmented topcoat.
Where flake gives you a thin decorative layer, quartz builds real thickness — a genuine wear surface with the aggregate carrying the load rather than the resin.
The texture is deliberate and you can feel it. That's the whole point.
The aggregate profile gives it the best slip resistance of anything we install, wet or dry. It's our first recommendation for pool decks.
Non-porous and seamless, with an integral coved base where the floor meets the wall so there's no seam to trap anything. Standard for commercial kitchens and anywhere health code applies.
The build thickness handles impact and abrasion that would wear a thin coating straight through.

Quartz aggregate comes pre-coloured, so the blend is chosen rather than mixed on site. Lighter blends stay cooler in full sun, which matters on a pool deck; darker and higher-contrast blends hide dirt better in a commercial kitchen or a wash bay.
We'll bring samples to the walkthrough so you can see them against your space and your light.

More material, thicker build, more labor.
Excellent underfoot when wet. Less pleasant to kneel on, and it takes more effort to mop than a smooth floor. That texture is what you're buying — but you should know it's there.
Quartz is a performance system. If the floor's job is to look spectacular, that's metallic.
Yes. The profile is textured, not sharp — engineered to grip without abrading. It's the standard around commercial pools for exactly that reason.
Lighter colors and the textured surface both help compared to a dark gloss floor. We'll steer you toward colors that make sense for full sun.
It can, and it's tough as anything. But for most residential garages flake gives you the look you want at lower cost, and hot tire pickup is handled by the topcoat either way.
Tell us how the space gets used and we'll tell you straight whether you need it.
